Plant Guide
Plant Guide
What to use me for: I’m a premium statement screening and soft privacy tree. My slender, upright habit is perfect along boundaries, driveways and poolside. I also works as a street-appeal feature or in large statement pots.
I grow to: Typically 6–8m tall and 3–5m wide if unpruned; I keep a narrow, dense wall with regular trimming and can be maintained 3–5m high.
Features: Weeping, glossy foliage with bronze flushes; small white flowers in warm months; takes clipping well; elegant vertical structure.

Where to place me: Full sun to part shade. Allow airflow; protect from severe, drying winds when young.
How far to space me: For a tight hedge/screen: 1.0–1.5m centres. For a softer screen: 1.8–2.5m.
Soil conditions: Prefers moist, free-draining soil with organic matter. Tolerates brief wet after rain but avoid long-term waterlogging. Mulch to keep roots cool.
Extra-Care: Water regularly to establish; then moderate water needs (deep soaks in extended heat). Prune 2-3 times per year to keep a narrow, formal line. Feed in spring with a slow-release fertiliser for natives/evergreens.
