Waterhousia floribunda 'Warners Select' Weeping Lilly Pilly

What to use me for: Warners is a superior form that is bushier, and stronger creating a dense screening hedge, windbreak, shade tree, ideal feature planting. Also, statement screen and poolside backdrop.

I grow to: about 10-12m tall and 6-7m wide, can be kept significantly smaller through pruning.

Features: elegant weeping habit, glossy evergreen foliage, fragrant summer flowers, colourful berries, excellent bird habitat.

Where to place me: Full sun to part shade with well-drained soils. I appreciate supplementary water during dry periods.

How far to space me: 3-5m for screening, 6-8m as feature trees.

Soil Conditions: Well-draining soil preferred. I tolerate most soil types and short wet spells once established.

Extra-Care: Prune after flowering to manage size and fruit production. Prune 2-3 times per year to keep a narrow undefined formal line. Apply slow-release fertiliser in spring. Maintain good airflow to reduce mildew risk. Monitor for psyllids during growing season.

Climate tolerance: Light frosts once established tolerates humid conditions.
