A fast, glossy-leaf evergreen with bigger, brighter foliage than common viburnum—made for formal hedges, soft screening, and feature planting. Small fragrant white flowers in spring–summer. Excellent performer in Brisbane.

What to use me for: tidy formal hedge, soft privacy screen, feature near entries or along fences.
I grow to: about 3–4 m tall × 2–3 m wide; I can be kept 2–3 m with pruning.
Features: large glossy foliage, fragrant white flowers, clips cleanly for crisp lines.

Where to place me: Full sun to part shade with good airflow. How far to space me: 1.0–1.2 m centres for a dense hedge; 1.5–2.0 m for a softer screen.
Soil Conditions: Free-draining, enriched with organic matter; avoid waterlogging.
Extra-Care: regular water to establish, then low–moderate; tip-prune 2–3×/yr to thicken; spring feed with slow-release fertiliser. Help protect me from intense summer heat.
