    Creates excellent tall hedge, privacy screens, pleached hedge or avenue plantings. Prunes beautifully to clean architectural lines for formal landscapes.

    Plant Guide

    What to use me for: tall privacy hedge, privacy screening wall, boundary fence, avenue planting, feature tree.

    I grow to: 10m+ tall × 3m+ wide for maximum privacy (smaller if regularly clipped).

    Features: very fast growth rate, striking lime new growth flushes, excellent response to pruning and shaping.

    Plant Care

    Where to place me: Full sun.

    How far to space me: 1.2–2.0m apart for dense hedge screening.

    Soil Conditions: Well-draining loam or clay-loam; avoid waterlogged conditions.

    Extra-Care: Regular watering to establish; trim 2–3 times per year for tight privacy screens; apply slow-release fertiliser in spring.
