Where to place me: Full sun (tolerates light shade and sheltered from harsh winds).
How far to space me: 3–4 m centres (for screen rows or avenues).
Soil Conditions: Free-draining, well-composted loam or native mix with organic matter.
Extra-Care: Mulch well to retain moisture; slow-release native fertiliser spring & autumn, light formative pruning in first 2 yearsbut avoid cutting the main leader (heading) — removing the leader can cause double-leader formation.
