Where to place me: Full sun (best), will handle part sun. Good airflow; very coastal/wind tolerant once established.
How far to space me: For avenues or screens: 4–6 m centres (closer = denser wall).
Soil Conditions: Prefers free-draining soils; excellent in sandy/coastal sites. Avoid prolonged waterlogging. Mulch well, keeping mulch off the trunk.
Extra-Care: Water regularly to establish; then low–moderate water needs. Light formative prune when young to set structure; annual tidy as required. Feed in spring with a slow-release fertiliser for natives/evergreens.
