What to use me for: hot banks, coastal verges, spillers for pots, water-wise gardens, xerophytic landscaping, coastal properties, seaside gardens, poolside, weed suppression groundcover, container displays, retaining walls, erosion control.

I grow to: 10–20cm high × 1–2m spread.

Features: cream and green variegated foliage, decorative year-round leaf colour, vivid magenta-pink flowers, quick knit, very water-wise, exceptional drought tolerance, salt-resistant, heat tolerant, low maintenance, attracts bees and beneficial insects, glossy heart-shaped succulent leaves.

Plant Care

Where to place me: Full sun (6+ hours daily).

How far to space me: 30cm apart for quick coverage.

Soil Conditions: Free-draining sandy/rocky/gravelly soils, suitable for temperate to subtropical regions.

Extra-Care: Cut back if over-vigorous; re-root cuttings easily for propagation, light frost tolerant when established, reduce watering in winter, minimal irrigation, once established. Note: variegated variety slightly less vigorous.
